Food goes Web 2.0

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

As some of you know, I am a devout foodie. Hence my daily feeds including some of the famous food blogs like Slashfood and Mahanandi.

With the Web 2.0 phenomenon over the past year, I have always hoped to see a service utilize these elements for a service around recipes and user generated content. Yum Ribs!!!

I am in Kansas city this week for meetings with a customer. I am here with bunch of colleagues.

Since we were in the mid-west we decided to try the local fare. As I was the one among my co-workers who had the most amount exposure to this area I chose Jack’s Stacks. This is probably the best Ribs joint I have ever been too. They do have an awesome menu and offer lamb ribs, which I haven’t seen anywhere else. In fact I am told that they were voted the best ribs joint in USA. Thats really something…

Jack’s Stack

I have been there before with some of my customers. As usual they didn’t fail to impress. Most of my colleagues I was with did enjoy the food as well. They are also famous for their bbq sauce. The even seem to ship their products all over the country.

So if you are in this area, I do recommend checking them out. Its quite an experience.

Bourdain is coming back

Anthony Bourdain

For those of you who know me, I love food and love traveling. So obviously Anthony Bourdain happens to be one of my favorite people in this world. He is fearless foodie and a avid traveller. I almost idolize the guy.

He has a great show on Travel Channel called No Reservations. Its been running for few seasons now and he has covered some amazing places (including India).

Now he is coming back with the 4th season end of this month. I am really looking forward to it and hoping he has really awesome places to cover and foods to try.
